Most content creators are great at creating new content but terrible at promoting or using old pieces of content.
I couldn’t understand why this happens. So this peculiarity bothered me.
Govinda explained his unique dancing style in his ‘Aap ki Adalat’ interview
At the time he was simultaneously working on 20 different movies.
So when the choreographer showed a dance step he felt that he had already just done that step and doesn’t want to be repetitive so he came up with something new of his own. Yet another example of how impossible make you shine!
Similarly when promoting to an audience content creators have this ‘stale content syndrome’.
Ask them
Why do you create new pieces of content instead of using your old content and saving a lot of time for yourself in the process?
And they will tell you that – it’s old stale content.
Everybody already knows about it.
Hence I must create a new piece of content to share my latest insights!
What they don’t understand is –
For them, it is old, known, and stale content
But most of the people who see the content will be seeing it for the very first time.
And for that audience, it is brand new and fresh content!
Not old and stale!
